Susan McFarland is a licensed professional counselor
who worked in education for 21 years as a guidance counselor.
She began her speaking business, Life Enrichment Seminars,
in l994 and today travels around the country presenting conference
keynotes as well as seminars. Her client list is varied
and Susan has extensive experience working with people in
business, education, parenting and the healthcare fields.
Susan is a member of the National Speakers Association.
Susan produced audiotapes on Dealing
with Difficult People, and a tape for women entitled,
Credibility, Confidence and Personal
Power. Susan is the author of a handbook for parents
and teachers entitled: Girls:
Math, Science and Technology: Striving for Self Esteem and
Equity.
In her personal life, Susan
has been married for many years to her husband, Sam. They
have four children-Anna, Kyle, Amanda and Shane who range
in age from 12-24. Susan is acutely aware of,
and experienced with, parenting and adoptive issues.
Three of her children were adopted from Korea as infants.
Susan
has been involved with parent support groups for many years.
She is actively involved with AFSN, the Adoptive Family
Support Network, and FFIC, Families for International Children.
She believes that "the greatest work that anyone
will ever do will be within the walls of their own home." |
