The art and science of Happiness

Is there a secret to experiencing more happiness and what does the research tell us about it? Is there a genetic link to the degree of happiness we experience in our lifetime? What’s with those people who act happy all the time? How do pessimists and optimists respond to the same experience? How can you infuse your days with more fun? Included in this workshop will be a lifetime of notes from a recovering pessimist! The discussion will include ideas for increasing meaning and purpose in life and science and research-based strategies that include the power of social connection, mindfulness, cooperation, empathy, our connection with nature and the power of a grateful mindset.

“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
